Nova Scotia currently gets its supply from 38 licensed producers based in the province as well as from producers based in P.E.I., New Brunswick, Ontario and Alberta.

Nova Scotia’s cannabis industry generated about $95.5 million of sales in 2021, which amounts to about 3% of the legal cannabis consumed in Canada.

Data collected by Statistics Canada show that retail sales in Nova Scotia reached over $8 million in December 2020, then fluctuated and decreased to $7 million in February 2022 and picked $9.1 million in July.
